When Craig Gosserand decided to develop the River Mill Subdivision in New Roads, LA, his first point of construction business was to establish drainage and install sewer connections.

Luckily, for him, QSM covers the area from its office in Baton Rouge.

“This was my first time working with the guys at QSM,” says Gosserand, “But, it won’t be my last. I had a good experience with them. TJ was very helpful, their work was great, their deliveries were great. I think the project went very well from this perspective.”

Gosserand is developing a 36-lot subdivision in New Roads with homes priced in the $200,000 – 250,000 range. In business for 12 years, this is his first subdivision, but he’s worked in the False River / New Roads area since founding his company in 2002.

“I specialize in custom built homes,” said Gosserand. “But, I own this property, and decided it was time to develop the land. I’ll also be building a few homes on this site for sale.”

Site prep and utility work began in January. Gosserand says the work will be complete in March. After that, he’ll start construction on new homes, and New Roads will soon have a new subdivision for families to call home in Point Coupee Parish.

QSM provided the following materials on this job:

  • 3,000 linear feet of SDR-35 Sewer Pipe
  • 300-feet of 24-inch RCPA
  • 10 Precast Manholes with Epoxy Coating
  • 2 Drop Inlets
