When it was time to relocate Grand Caillou Middle School in Terrebonne Parish, B&B Underground knew exactly who to call for its drainage materials.

“We chose QSM because we have had a good relationship with them for many years, and also because we’ve done several large, successful projects with them in the past,” said Joe Sonier, General Manager and Site Foreman at B&B Underground.

This project was no different. It called for a wide variety of materials, all of which QSM had either in stock, or can delivery quickly through its partners.

“The main thing for us to be successful in this business is to get good customer service,” says Sonier. “QSM is always ‘Johnny on the Spot’ when it comes to delivering the materials we need, and they’re right here in South Louisiana. This is our back yard.”

QSM provided B&B with A-2000 pipe and fittings and East Jordan Rings and Grates for the yard drains. B&B provided its services as a subcontractor to Thompson Construction.

B&B is a municipal works utility contractor that’s been in business for 12 years. Working mainly in South Central Louisiana, B&B holds a good reputation in the industry.

Says Sonier, “We’re a young company, but a growing company. We focus on the tri-parish area — Lafourche, Terrebonne and St. Mary parishes. This sort of work is our bread and butter. We enjoy doing it, and … more importantly, QSM helps us to do our job well.”
