At QSM, we believe that progress is powered by people. That’s why, as our footprint expands into Texas and Oklahoma and our commitment to manufacturers like MPI deepens, we’re excited to introduce the newest members of our outside sales team — a group whose technical acumen, market knowledge, and relationship-driven approach perfectly align with QSM’s values and our mission to deliver infrastructure solutions with integrity and impact.
This spring, QSM responded to rapid growth by hiring in-house project managers and a dedicated sales manager for Texas and Oklahoma. Now, with the leadership of Trent Guiberteau, Sales Manager for Texas and Oklahoma, and TJ Truxillo, VP of QSM’s Environmental Services Division, we’re proud to announce a talented new sales team focused on these territories: Soren Spake, Michael Brown, and Matthew Benick in Texas, Logan Howard in Oklahoma, and Logan Laird in North Alabama/North Mississippi.
Each brings a proven track record of technical sales, project management, and client service in the water and wastewater treatment space.

Soren Spake joins our Texas team with a background as a sales engineer at Tyler Union Waterworks, where he managed territory growth and technical support across 23 states. Soren’s ability to translate complex engineering requirements into actionable solutions — along with his experience supporting municipalities, engineering firms, and contractors — will drive customer confidence and market development for QSM.
Soren’s approach goes beyond technical sales.
His foundation in civil engineering, along with hands-on experience supporting job sites and in collaboration with municipal leaders, engineers, and contractors, … gives him a unique ability to see projects from multiple angles.
Soren is known for meeting clients where they are — whether that’s on a job site troubleshooting field issues, or in the boardroom helping to interpret specs and develop solutions that actually work on the ground. This practical perspective, matched with his passion for relationship-building, fits perfectly with QSM’s commitment to delivering service that’s not just responsive, but that is genuinely invested in the success of our partners and communities.

Michael Brown brings broad experience in engineered solutions sales and business development, most recently at DXP Enterprises, where he advanced opportunities in the industrial and energy markets. Michael’s knack for building qualified sales pipelines, managing strategic accounts, and turning technical concepts into business value will help position QSM as a trusted partner for both manufacturers and end users.
Beyond his sales achievements, Michael’s years as a high-level athlete and high school football coach have shaped the way he approaches business.
The same discipline, preparation, and drive that earned him success on the field now fuel his work building relationships and driving results. Coaching required him to lead large, diverse teams — developing strategy, adapting on the fly, and making decisions under pressure. In the world of sales, those same qualities translate to effective leadership, relentless follow-through, and a deep understanding of what it takes to help teams and clients reach goals.
At QSM, where the value of athletic discipline and team mindset runs deep, Michael’s background is more than a credential — it’s a competitive advantage, we do not take lightly. It’s who we are.

Matthew Benick joins with a background in both sales engineering and technical support, including work with Pleuger Industries and Smith Pump Company. Matthew’s success in building sales territories, exceeding KPIs, and delivering tailored water and wastewater solutions fits perfectly with QSM’s commitment to market growth and client partnerships with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), that QSM represents. Benick brings more than six years experience to QSM in sales and industry, and he’s managed sales territories across the United States, Canada, and … across Central and South America.

In Oklahoma, Logan Howard brings a versatile skill set developed through contractor sales, estimating, logistics, and client management roles at Tulsa Winwater and Arrive Logistics.
Logan’s ability to build relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and manage complex projects will be a major asset as QSM continues to expand its presence across the region.

Completing the team, Logan Laird will represent QSM in North Alabama and North Mississippi.
Logan’s engineering background in wastewater project management, paired with hands-on engineering project experience and work as an owner with equity stake in business management, means he understands both the technical and operational sides of our customers’ needs.
QSM’s expansion is about much more than geography.
QSM strives to amplify value for our OEM partners — especially as we grow our relationship with MPI — and we always promise to provide local expertise, technical support, and the trusted service that defines the QSM brand. Our team’s combined strengths position QSM as the go-to representative for innovative, cost-effective solutions in water and wastewater treatment across a growing footprint.
As part of this exciting growth, QSM has also reconfigured its geographic territories to better serve customers across Alabama and Mississippi. Kyle Cuntz will now serve as Technical Sales Representative, Environmental, for Southern Mississippi, Southern Alabama, and the Florida panhandle — leveraging his deep expertise to support clients throughout these key regions.
This realignment underscores QSM’s ongoing commitment to providing responsive, expert service throughout every community we serve.
With our expanded team and realigned territories, QSM is better positioned than ever to serve as the vital link between industry-leading manufacturers and the communities that depend on their solutions.
By deepening our local presence and investing in proven sales and technical talent, we’re able to offer more responsive support, faster solutions, and a hands-on partnership approach. Our commitment is to create value up and down the supply chain — from working alongside municipal leaders to supporting contractors on the ground, and ensuring our OEM partners like MPI have the representation and market insight they need to thrive.
At QSM, we see every project as an opportunity to raise the bar for service, reliability, and results in water and wastewater infrastructure.
We’re looking forward to what’s next — new projects, deeper partnerships, and delivering results that matter for communities, clients, and manufacturers alike.
Welcome to the QSM team, Soren, Michael, Matthew, Logan, and Logan.
