The family-owned company was founded in Greenwich, NY in 1978, and initially supplied belt dewatering presses (this, “BDP”). Today the company supplies solid / liquid separation and composting, to most industries and municipalities.
BDP Industries’ main products include belt presses, screw presses, rotary drum thickeners and gravity belt thickeners.
Since 1989, BDP has designed and manufactured agitators and other components for in-vessel composting systems, and a partnership agreement with BacTee Corp. allows us to provide aeration, process control, ventilation, and odor containment components for a complete, turnkey system.
Everything is done in-house to offer full system capabilities from R&D to engineering, to manufacturing. BDP even has its own process lab to pilot solids / liquid dewatering samples, and the ability to pilot custom composting mixes at nearby facilities.
With thousands of installations across the globe, and a 40,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, BDP Industries is the most modern and comprehensive solids dewatering supplier in the world.

BDP Industries was one of the first to produce gravity belt thickeners (1989), the first to build a structurally reliable 3-meter belt width press, , and BDP created one of the first 4-meter wide gravity belt thickeners.
