When you’re looking for a professional to represent an All-Star lineup of original equipment manufacturers, you look to someone with professional experience.

And that’s just one reason why QSM hired Mike Bolsinger in technical sales for its Mississippi territory. Bolsinger will represent OEM’s in wastewater treatment, water treatment, and environmental services.

The other reasons include: his high level of motivation, good analytical skills, and a thoughtful approach to working with others.  Mike builds relationships based on good listening while he seeks to learn all he can about a given situation from multiple angles.

You see, Mike comes to QSM from the world of sports.  Baseball, to be specific; professional baseball to be more accurate.

Bolsinger pitched at the professional level from 2010 to 2019. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 15th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft and spent the next few years in that organization.

He was sent to Single-A Yakima, where he had a 1.69 ERA in six games, and then worked his way up to “The Show”, as he showed his metal with stints at various clubs in the Arizona system.

He pitched in the Major Leagues for the Diamondbacks, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He also played two seasons with the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball, about 30 miles east of Tokyo, in Japan.

“It’s that diversity of experiences, and an innate alertness that we saw when we first met with Mike,” say’s QSM’s CEO, Josh Loeske. “He’s proven his ability to work well as a self-starter, and as part of a team, and he looks at any given situation with well-rounded analysis.”

TJ Truxillo, QSM’s VP of Environmental, says, “the work we do at QSM is all about building relationships, and being able to put ourselves in the shoes of our customers. It requires a thought process where you must understand there is not a one product or one solution idea fits all situations, and Mike knows everything about situational analysis.”

Bolsinger chuckled and said: “my approach to work is the same, whether it’s as a professional baseball player, or a professional in the world of sales. What people are going to find out about me is I promise you communication is key.”

“I’m not here to just sell you a product, I’m here to work with you to solve your problems, as you encounter them. I’m here to listen to that and look into it for you from all angles.”

Bolsinger will take on QSM’s Mississippi territory in water and wastewater treatment solutions.

That area covers the Gulf Coast to northern Mississippi, just south of Memphis.

Bolsinger was born in McKinney, TX, played baseball at, and graduated from the University of Arkansas, in Fayetteville, and now resides in Madison, MS (a suburb of Jackson).

He joins QSM’s sales team, as it continues to expand operations across the southeast.

QSM represents original equipment manufacturers in the areas of civil engineering / sitework solutions; wastewater treatment, and water treatment in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida panhandle.

QSM looks to develop long-lasting relationships with engineers, municipalities, contractors, and manufacturers who work with these critical infrastructure needs.

Our Company Culture: We share a high level of respect for those in the industry, and we provide that same level of respect to each other. This means QSM looks at every problem with a teamwork approach — where one person is backed up by many, to provide customers with optimum planning and coordination.
