QSM was called on by Byron E. Talbot Contractor to provide drainage for a student housing complex at Wildwood of Baton Rouge.
Wildwood of Baton Rouge, a 204-unit apartment complex near LSU’s campus, is one of a half-dozen new developments recently completed or under construction near Ben Hur Road.
Wildwood is being developed by Dovetail Development.
The complex features 18 buildings on a site northeast of Burbank Drive and east of West Lee Drive. Dovetail also developed The Woodlands, a 291-unit apartment complex nearby on Ben Hur Road, in 2012.
Six years ago, no student housing sat on Ben Hur Road between Nicholson and Burbank. Three big complexes have been built since then, and more are on the way. Wildwood of Baton Rouge is one complex under construction. The are has proven quite popular with LSU students.
QSM is proud to help contractors in Baton Rouge, we’re also proud to facilitate growth in student housing near Ben Hur Road, and throughout the metro area.
On this project, QSM provided Byron E. Talbot with drainage materials such as: A-2000 PVC, asphalt-coated corrugated metal pipe (ACCMP), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), catch basins, sewer manhole covers, and castings.
Byron E. Talbot Contractor, Inc. was founded in Schriever, LA. It started work in 1975. Today, Byron E. Talbot has grown to a sizeable operation across south Louisiana. Byron E. Talbot is primarily engaged in civil and industrial construction.
