QSM Welcomes Chris Duet as Project Manager in Schriever

We’re excited to announce the newest member of the QSM team: Chris Duet, who joined us as Project Manager in our Schriever office on January 5, 2026. Chris will focus on sales support and logistics in our Environmental Services Division, helping deliver the products, parts, and service that keep municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment plants running smoothly.

QSM is known for representing original equipment manufacturers that solve civil engineering challenges — challenges such as stormwater management, drainage, water and erosion control, and, of course, water and wastewater treatment. We serve Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and parts of Florida, helping communities and industries manage critical infrastructure.

Chris brings a unique background to QSM. A graduate of Nicholls State University with a degree in maritime management, he spent the first part of his career at Motion Industries, where he worked in project management, outside sales, logistics, and supply chain support for the maritime and oil and gas industries. That experience, paired with the skills he honed in the fast-paced world of oil and gas, makes Chris a perfect fit for QSM’s demanding, detail-oriented work.

What really drew Chris to QSM, though, was the culture. “QSM produces work as a team effort, and it shows in everything they do and accomplish. I saw that in my first meeting with them, and heard this reiterated in each interaction I had with people within the company,” Chris says. “I think when businesses are able to approach with a daily mindset of building things, and accomplishing goals as a team, the results are easier to achieve, and the end results to customers is so much better — and I want to be a part of that type of environment.”

Chris is organized, attentive to detail, and genuinely enjoys helping others. He credits his adaptability to his training in Jiu Jitsu, a sport he’s competed in for years. “Jiu Jitsu teaches you how to make good decisions on the fly, and while under fast and heavy pressure. I use that knowledge, and apply it to my career and day-to-day work life, which means I know … I’ve got this, and I can make something good happen.”

He wants QSM’s customers to know: “I’ve got your back.” Whether you call with a last-minute need, a critical request, or just a question, Chris is ready to help.

Chris is especially interested in QSM’s mission of supporting critical infrastructure. “The products and solutions we deliver are of the most importance to all of us, in our homes, our businesses, and in government and industry, and I like being a part of that. I want to make those things better.”

He’s passionate about the future of water and wastewater treatment — a field he thinks many people overlook or assume is old technology. Chris sees it as ripe for innovation, especially as demand for water resources grows with the expansion of AI and tech data centers nationwide.

TJ Truxillo, QSM’s VP of Environmental, says, “From the very beginning of our interview process, it was clear that Chris would be a strong cultural fit for QSM. He is a driven, high-character individual, and his experience, curiosity, and energy will allow him to make an immediate impact. We’re extremely excited to welcome Chris to the team as we continue to build and grow our business.”
