QSM Welcomes Reid Mixon as Newest Project Manager in Environmental Division

QSM is proud to announce the addition of Reid Mixon as Project Manager in our Environmental Division. Reid will focus on delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects across Louisiana and the Gulf South.
Reid comes to QSM from Mixon Roofing, a respected Louisiana-based construction firm, bringing a wealth of hands-on project management experience and a deep commitment to building and maintaining critical infrastructure. He studied Construction Management at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he developed both the technical skills and the collaborative mindset that now define his approach to work.
For Reid, joining QSM marks more than just a career move — it’s a chance to make a tangible impact on the communities he calls home. “I’ve got some friends in this industry across Louisiana and Texas, and listening to their stories plus the problems they help solve through the years is compelling,” he says. “This industry touches everyone at home, in business, and while traveling or going about your normal day, and that means the work we do is important at a very baseline level.”
Reid’s roots run deep in south Louisiana. He grew up in Baton Rouge, attending Catholic High, where he excelled in football and baseball. Today, he lives in Thibodaux with his wife and young daughter, staying close to family and giving back to the community that shaped him.
When he’s not on a job site or working with clients, you’ll likely find him on a golf course, in the woods, or simply enjoying time with his family.
