When Coast 2 Coast Construction was hired by St. Tammany Parish for the Hidden Oaks Bridge replacement project, they knew just who to call.
“QSM,” said Jeffrey Pittman, with confidence.
“We’ve been doing business with them since the time QSM was known as F&G Services. I knew what to expect with them, and I knew they’d be able to supply the right products for our job.”
The job, above a drainage canal on Hidden Oaks Drive, was to demolish a dilapidated and antiquated timber bridge in Eastern St. Tammany Parish, and replace it with modern, corrugated steel culverts. Engineers’ reports and specifications called for increased capacity as well as structural upgrades.
Final design called for removal of the existing crossing and replacement with three (3) 120” Diameter Bituminous Coated Corrugated Steel Culverts.
Pittman, whose company has been in business in Slidell for 10 years, said Coast 2 Coast calls on QSM, “because they have a superb field presence: Somebody from their team is always on the job.”
Coast 2 Coast specializes in public projects, especially in Division 2 site work, and in commercial site work development.
QSM is proud of its relationship with Coast 2 Coast, and pleased to have been affiliated with the Hidden Oaks Bridge replacement project.
