Willis Construction Company was founded in 1985. It’s a family run business specializing in commercial, civil construction throughout South Louisiana.
Willis built its business based on service and reliability, and a dogged attitude that says, “We can get more done with less.” Less what? Less hassle, less time, less aggravation.
Owner Joey Willis and his team work on projects in Baton Rouge, St. John Parish, the Florida parishes and in the New Orleans metro area.
Two recent projects they’ve completed with QSM show their depth of service. One was a small job at Mary Queen of Peace church in Mandeville; the other was a complete site prep project for a Race Trac gas station in Covington.
“QSM has been great whenever we need them,” says Willis. “They always come through on time. They give us good communication, and they really know their products and manufacturers very well.”
“Frankly, working with QSM saves us time, and everyone knows time is money.”
The Race Trac project included complete site prep, excavation, drainage and roadway construction. The project at Mary Queen of Peace included plastic catch basins, which had to be matched with SDR pipe in 8-inch and 12-inch diameter.
Willis prides itself on a job well done, and cites repeat business from many of its customers as an example that they’re hitting the mark. For instance, “we’ve been working with Mary Queen of Peace for 15 years.”
